Service pillar
Physiotherapy
Hands-on and exercise-led therapy to restore movement, strength and function.
No referral needed · One-to-one throughout · Available at both clinics
Which of these do you need?
Physiotherapy works through assessment, hands-on treatment and a graded exercise programme, aimed at restoring movement and function over a course of sessions. Chiropractic and manual therapy focus on joint mechanics and targeted manual techniques. Many patients here have both as part of one plan. If you are unsure, book a general assessment, deciding which applies is part of the first visit.

Each is scoped tightly so they do not overlap. If you are not sure which applies, book a general assessment.

What it is used for
Conditions we treat with this
Generated from the condition pages themselves, so this list and the treatments named on each of those pages are always the same list read from two directions.
-
Ankle Sprain
twisted ankle
A ligament injury that heals faster than the balance and control it takes away. That gap is why sprains recur.
-
Frozen Shoulder
Loss of shoulder movement in every direction, including when someone else moves your arm. Slow, and staged.
-
Knee Pain
Front, side, deep or below the kneecap. Where and when it hurts is what tells the causes apart.
-
Lower Back Pain
pain in the lower back
Pain between the ribs and the legs. Common, rarely dangerous, and generally responsive to movement and strengthening.
-
Meniscus Tear
knee cartilage tear
A tear in the knee's load-spreading cartilage. Acute traumatic tears and degenerative ones behave differently and are managed differently.
-
Rotator Cuff Injury
shoulder tendon injury
Tendinopathy through to full-thickness tears in the four muscles that stabilise the shoulder. A tear on a scan is not automatically the cause.
-
Sciatica
pain down the back of the leg
Pain along the sciatic nerve, through the buttock and down the leg. A symptom with a cause, usually in the lower back.
-
Spondylosis
age-related wear in the spine
Age-related change in the spine, very common on scans of people with no symptoms at all. The structure does not reverse; the symptoms often improve.
-
Tennis Elbow
pain on the outside of the elbow
A tendon problem at the outside of the elbow, far more often from work and gripping than from sport.
